Controlled substance account configuration for a new user
Procedure following reception of the email invitation for the controlled substance site.
Please follow the steps below to log in to the controlled substances site.
- Open the invitation email from CDMV entitled “Register on our Controlled substances ordering platform.”
- Click on the “Create my access” button and a web page will appear.
- On the login page, click on the “Complete your registration” link.
- Enter your email address in the box. It must be the same address through which you received the invitation.
- Click on “Send verification code.” A message will indicate that the verification code has been sent.
- You will receive an email from Microsoft entitled “Email for CDMV account verification code.”
- Copy the code.
- Paste it in the “Verification code” box.
- Click on “Verify code.”
Two-step authentication
Each time you log in to the Controlled substances site, a unique code will be sent to your email address. You will need to retrieve this PIN and enter it in the space provided to be able to log in.
- Click on “Send verification code.” A message will indicate that the verification code has been transmitted.
- You will receive the message via an email from Microsoft entitled “Email for CDMV account verification code.”
- Copy the code.
- Paste it in the “Verification code” box.
- Click on “Verify code.”
- A message will appear confirming that the code has been verified.
- Click on “Continue.”
On first log in, a window will appear to finalize your access to the Controlled substances site.
- Enter your unique identifier provided in the electronic signature email.
- Click on “Complete the account linking.”
- Log in again (enter your access information) to access the product catalog.

- Please make sure you are logged out of the Regular products site.
- Open the email received from CDMV entitled “Access our controlled substances platform”
- Click on the “Login” button and a web page will appear.
- Enter the email address and password that you use on the Regular products ordering site.
- Click on “Sign in”.
