Backordered products
It is possible to place an order for a product that is out of stock. Check the available inventory, which is visible in the product list page or directly in the product page. A note indicating the expected restock date will be visible.
You can add backordered items in your cart exactly the same way as regular products!
A warning will appear in the shopping cart, asking you for a final validation before confirming the order.
After ordering a product that is out of stock, it will be added to your pending product list.
Special order
All special order products can now be ordered online exactly the same way as regular products.
That means you no longer need to contact the Customer Service team to purchase these products!
To identify a special order product, check its status, which is displayed in two places:
- In the product list page
- Directly in the product page
Important note: Products marked “special order” are subject to specific sales conditions. These items cannot be returned and the order cannot be cancelled. Longer delivery times are to be expected.

Contact your account administrator to have your role changed. Only users with administrator, treasurer, or buyer roles can access the section.

Request the cancellation of a product awaiting shipment
Easily cancel items awaiting shipment based on your needs, at a time that works best for you.

Select your organization name and then “Orders”. |

Click “Pending product list” to access the page. |

Locate the item you wish to remove and click Cancel. |

The status Cancellation requested status, along with a notification, indicates that the request is being processed. It is typically completed within 24 hours. |
You will receive a confirmation email once the request has been processed. You can then view it in your cancellation history by clicking the icon in the top right corner of the page.
Important information:
Cancellation will be refused once the product has already been packed for shipment.
The cancellation applies to the full quantity pending shipment. Partial cancellations are not available.
CDMV may remove an item from your list of items awaiting shipment when restocking cannot be confirmed, including in the following situations:
- The item has been unavailable for more than 6 months;
- Backorders are no longer accepted;
- The item has been discontinued.
In these cases, the information will be visible in your cancellation history.
Cancellations are not possible in the following cases:
- The product is a special order;
- The product is controlled.
