Your mission
With your great adaptability and strong organizational skills, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the ongoing operations of the Halifax Distribution Centre in order to achieve quality, service, and productivity objectives.

What you’d mainly be responsible for:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all daily operations (outbound, shipping, replenishment).
- Effectively motivate and supervise personnel including recruitment, training & development, and evaluation. Ensure ongoing improvement in productivity and quality of employee’s work.
- Communicate effectively with employees, promote a collaborative environment, while adhering to regulations governing work conditions. Ensure employees comply with regulatory and corporate standards and policies.
- Participate in and contribute to inventory management initiatives, in collaboration with the Inventory Control Team Lead.
- Recommend changes in work methods, for more efficient use of resources to optimize the company’s performance.
- Promote health and safety awareness and ensure compliance with applicable standards; take proactive measures to minimize health and safety risks for employees and visitors.
- Ensure the workplace is consistently clean, organized, and safe.
- Supervise preventive maintenance and equipment repair programs; promptly report all equipment-related issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performing other duties as required by supervisor to support the interests of CDMV.
We would like to meet you if you have:
- A college diploma.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
