Your mission

The Accounting agent, who reports to the Manager, Account payable or receivable, is responsible for auditing payable and receivable transactions, collecting payments from clients, and reconciling receivables and payables.


What you’d mainly be responsible for:

  • Entering accounts payable with receipt data into the Oracle system;
  • Comparing receipts with supplier invoices;
  • Verifying prices with buyers and making any necessary corrections through accounting entries;
  • Checking transport invoices with the IT tools at your disposal;
  • Filing supporting documents in the accounts payable file;
  • Preparing documents related to payments by bank transfer;
  • Reconciling suppliers’ statements with the accounts payable ledger monthly and ensuring that we have all the corresponding invoices on hand;
  • Ensuring that claims filed with suppliers are reimbursed in a timely manner;
  • Checking each supplier account on a monthly basis to ensure that the computer data and invoices on hand match;
  • Managing the collection of accounts receivable;
  • Billing accounts receivable;
  • Reconciling supplier invoices;
  • Raising any discrepancies between ordered and invoiced items;
  • Making payments by bank transfer or cheque;
  • Reconciling accounts receivable;
  • Performing any other work that is requested by the employee’s supervisor and required in order for operations to run smoothly.

We would like to meet you if you have :

  • An AEC or DEC in accounting or equivalent experience;
  • An excellent level of knowledge of French and English, spoken and written;
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounting;
  • Extensive knowledge of standard software applications and proficiency in Excel;
  • A good knowledge of Oracle and Power BI is an asset.
